A history full of quality
For more than 20 years, POKOLM has been supplying tool systems geared to the needs of industry from one single source. We started as a classic family business in the 80’s. Today, 100 employees work on over 3,000 square meters of operational area. Many of these employees have decades of experience in the manufacture of milling tools. Along with that, the depth of expertise and the modern plants guarantee continuously high quality. And this has a long tradition at POKOLM.
Company milestones
Franz-Josef POKOLM started with the development and manufacture of cutters and milling machines back in the 80’s. As a customer he especially had tool making, mould making and die and machine building in mind. In 1994 he founded POKOLM Frästechnik GmbH. The philosophy and objectives were very clear here: POKOLM was to become the primary point of contact for modern tool systems and milling technology. Success came very quickly. Only 3 years later, the company moved into the building in Harsewinkel – with production, administration, warehousing and its own training area. The company also grew due to the consequential expansion of its own manufacturing capacity. And the prospects for future growth look promising too.
